次、開通教二乘、菩薩，亦如是。出假菩薩位者，決了此假，假即是中，如置毒生蘇，而能殺人。按麁即妙，是相似位。若進入，隨位判妙。

Next, opening the two vehicles and bodhisattvas of the shared teaching is also like this. For the stage of the bodhisattva who emerges into the provisional: fully resolving this provisional, the provisional is precisely the middle, like placing poison in raw curd-butter, which can kill a person. According to the coarse, it is the subtle, which is the semblance stage; if one advances, one determines the subtle according to the stage.
