此清涼益，合而言之，蓋由凡聖慈善根力；別而言之，本由菩薩初觀二十五有所防之惡而起於悲，觀二十五能防之善而起於慈，以此慈悲熏王三昧，不捨眾生，赴對關宜，令得利益。

Speaking collectively of this benefit of cooling, it arises from the power of the wholesome roots of compassion of ordinary beings and sages. Speaking specifically, it originally arises from the bodhisattva initially contemplating the evils to be prevented across the twenty-five states of existence and giving rise to pity, and contemplating the goods capable of preventing them across the twenty-five states of existence and giving rise to compassion; perfuming the king of samādhis with this pity and compassion, not abandoning sentient beings, responding to them as conditions fit, and causing them to obtain benefit.
