《大集》云：菩薩調伏眾生多種，或邪或正，行於非道，通達佛道（云云）。
The Mahāsaṃnipāta states: Bodhisattvas tame sentient beings in many ways, sometimes through the wrong, sometimes through the correct; by treading non-paths, they penetrate the Buddha-path (and so forth).
