《普賢觀》云：「東方有佛名曰善德，彼佛亦有分身諸佛。」若爾，亦有諸佛，諸佛亦有分身。又〈神力品〉云：「彈指、謦欬是二音聲，遍至十方諸佛世界，彼佛四眾遙伸供養，所散諸物從十方來，譬如雪聚，遍覆此間諸佛之上。」故知有諸佛，諸佛亦有分身也。

The Samantabhadra-dhyāna-sūtra states: 'In the east there is a buddha named Good Virtue; that buddha also has emanated buddhas.' If so, there are also other buddhas, and those buddhas also have emanations. Moreover, the 'Chapter on Supernatural Powers' states: 'These two sounds of snapping fingers and clearing the throat reached everywhere throughout the buddha-worlds of the ten directions. The fourfold assemblies of those buddhas made offerings from afar; the various objects scattered came from the ten directions like gathering clouds of snow, completely covering the buddhas here.' Thus we know there are other buddhas, and those buddhas also have emanations.
