7.23

諸麁益判眷屬者，果、因二益，堪為業生眷屬。中上二草小樹等，堪為願通眷屬。大樹見性已去，皆應生眷屬攝（云云）。

Regarding classifying retinue according to the various coarse benefits: the two benefits of fruition and cause are capable of serving as retinue born of karma. The intermediate and superior two grasses and the small trees are capable of serving as retinue penetrating through vows. From the large trees seeing nature onward, all are subsumed under retinue born of response (and so forth).
