8.55

△第二、顯體者，前、釋名總說，文義浩漫；今、頓點要理，正顯經體，直辨真性。真性非無二軌，欲令易解，是故直說。後顯宗用，非無初軌，偏舉當名耳。

Part Two: Discerning the Substance. Previously, in explaining the title, the general explanation was presented, and the text and meaning were vast and extensive. Now, directly indicating the essential principle, we correctly reveal the substance of the sūtra, directly discerning the true nature. The true nature is not without the other two tracks, but to make it easy to understand, it is therefore spoken of directly. Later, in revealing the central purport and function, they are not without the first track, but the corresponding name is highlighted in particular.
