8.69

如斯流類，百千萬種，虛妄戲論，為惑流轉，見網浩然，邪智瀾漫，觸境生著。或時襵揲，有無為有，無有無無為無，有非有非無為有，無非有非無為無，百千番牒，悉皆見倒，生死諸邊，非真實也。《大經》云：「被無明枷，繫生死柱，遶二十五有不能得脫。」即此義也。

Categories such as these are of hundreds of thousands of kinds, false conceptual proliferations, drifting in delusion, a vast net of views, perverse wisdom running wild, generating attachment upon contacting objects. At times they fold and pleat: taking existence and non-existence as existence; taking the non-existence of existence and non-existence as non-existence; taking existence of neither existence nor non-existence as existence; taking non-existence of neither existence nor non-existence as non-existence—hundreds and thousands of layers of pleating, all of which are inverted views, various extremes of saṃsāra, not the real. The Mahāparinirvāṇa-sūtra says: 'Wearing the cangue of ignorance, bound to the pillar of saṃsāra, circling around the twenty-five realms of existence, unable to attain liberation.' This is precisely what it means.
