9.15

若別有門，多就定分割截，漸次斷除五住，即是思議智斷也，乃至三門亦如是，是為別四門相。若圓有門，解惑不二，多明不斷斷，五住皆不思議，即是不思議斷，乃至三門亦如是，是為圓四門相。

If it is the distinctive gate of existence, it mostly adheres to fixed demarcations and cut-offs, gradually severing the five entrenchments; this is severing through conceivable wisdom, and the same applies up through the other three gates—such are the characteristics of the distinctive four gates. If it is the perfect gate of existence, understanding and delusion are non-dual, mostly clarifying severing without severing, and the five entrenchments are all inconceivable; this is inconceivable severing, and the same applies up through the other three gates—such are the characteristics of the perfect four gates.
