Next, clarifying the twenty wisdoms illuminating the three truths: the first seven wisdoms illuminate the two truths without the middle; these are phenomena produced by conditioned co-arising, all subsumed under the conventional. The next five wisdoms illuminate the two truths containing the middle; the single phrase "identical to emptiness" is completely subsumed under the truth of the real. The next eight wisdoms of the distinctive and perfect teachings illuminate the two truths manifesting the middle; the two phrases "identical to provisional designations" and "also termed the middle way" are both subsumed under the truth of the middle way.
