The stage of the small tree: this is the shared teaching, clarifying that people of the three vehicles equally use the wordless path to sever afflictions and enter the supreme truth. Their contemplative wisdom embodying phenomena is not different; there is only the difference in the strength or weakness of their intellectual power, and the difference in whether their residual habits of affliction are exhausted or not exhausted.
