12.33

二釋三十六句，中二：初指前四句略舉機應各有冥顯以成四句，次「若具足」下機應各列一十六句，先列、次結。先列中二：先列根本四句，次十六句。初文三：先列四句，次「冥是」下略列四相，三「如佛」下引事證相，但證未來一句，餘如前文機應相中故略耳。機中云「非冥非顯」者，非過去之冥，非現在之顯故也。

In the second part, explaining the thirty-six propositions, there are two parts: first, pointing to the preceding four propositions, briefly presenting capacity and response as each having concealed and manifest to form four propositions; next, from 'If fully' downward, capacity and response each list sixteen propositions, first listing and then concluding. Within the first listing there are two parts: first, listing the root four propositions; next, the sixteen propositions. The first text has three parts: first, listing the four propositions; next, from 'Concealed is' downward, briefly listing the four characteristics; third, from 'Like the Buddha' downward, citing events to verify the characteristics, only verifying the single proposition of the future, the rest being as in the earlier text on the characteristics of capacity and response, hence omitted. Within capacity, as for 'neither concealed nor manifest,' this is because it is neither the concealed of the past nor the manifest of the present.
