○次利益妙中二：先釋名，次正釋。自行功德指前五妙，次後四妙已是益他，受化、得益於茲別立，益雖不等同歸法華，是故名為利益妙也。次正釋中，先開章，次依章解釋。解釋中所以不言序中益者，序但預表當益，當文無益可論。若作表義，神通妙中已略辨竟。

Next, within the wonder of benefit, there are two parts: first, explaining the name; next, the primary explanation. The merits of self-practice refer to the preceding five wonders; the latter four wonders are already benefiting others. Receiving transformation and attaining benefit are separately established here; although the benefits are not uniform, they return together to the Lotus Sūtra, and are therefore named the wonder of benefit. Next, in the primary explanation, first the headings are opened, and next they are explained according to the headings. In the explanation, the reason why the benefit in the introductory chapter is not mentioned is that the prologue merely foreshadows future benefit, and in that actual text there is no benefit to discuss. If considered as figurative meaning, it has already been briefly distinguished in the wonder of supernatural powers.
