次引大集者，但是約蓮華為法門耳，亦未足以顯妙；今文判之，亦且依其因果義邊用為解釋。
Next, citing the Mahāsaṃnipāta Sūtra merely regards the lotus flower as a dharma-gate; it is not yet sufficient to reveal the wonder. In judging it in the present text, we also temporarily use it for explanation relying on its aspect of cause and effect.
