三傍正中二：初約教，次約味。初教中三：初通辨傍正，次引文，三正約四教。初文二：先通標，次「正即」下分別。分別中先論別相，次明相帶。初文中言「實相」者，圓也。「傍偏真」者，藏也。次文中言「偏含實」者，通也。「實帶偏」者，別也。次「中論」下引文者，《中論》證通，《大經》證藏及別圓，「此經」下證藏圓相對。三「小乘」下正約教如文。

Part 3, "Secondary and primary," contains two [parts]: first, in terms of teachings; next, in terms of flavors. Within the first, in terms of teachings, there are three [parts]: first, broadly distinguishing secondary and primary; next, citing texts; third, directly applying the four teachings. The first text has two [parts]: first, broadly indicating; next, from "the primary is" downward, making distinctions. Within the distinctions, it first discusses the distinct characteristics, and next clarifies their mutual inclusion. In the first text, when it says "true aspect," this is the Perfect [Teaching]. "The secondary is the biased truth" is the Tripiṭaka [Teaching]. In the next text, when it says "the biased contains the true," this is the Shared [Teaching]. "The true carries along the biased" is the Separate [Teaching]. Next, as for citing texts from "Mūlamadhyamakakārikā" downward: the Mūlamadhyamakakārikā verifies the Shared [Teaching], the Great Sūtra verifies the Tripiṭaka, Separate, and Perfect [Teachings], and from "this sūtra" downward verifies the contrast between the Tripiṭaka and the Perfect [Teachings]. Third, from "the Hinayana" downward, directly applying the teachings is as in the text.
