次難第二時又四：初牒計，次「脩多羅」下明難，三「解云」下彼救，四「若言」下重破。破中又三：初以譬喻等例破，次「般若」下以餘經例般若直說為難，三「若言」下破第二時。

Next, refuting the second period also has four parts: first, citing the proposition; second, from 'The sūtra' downward, setting forth the challenge; third, from 'The explanation says' downward, their defense; fourth, from 'If it is said' downward, refuting it once more. In the refutation there are also three parts: first, refuting through analogies and the like as parallels; second, from 'Prajñā' downward, challenging by using other sūtras as parallels to prajñā's direct exposition; third, from 'If it is said' downward, refuting the second period.
