次破神通中云何止延壽而不延眼奪其無理？何不延舌奪其無教？亦應更云何不延智知於常住奪其無行？何不延身令契法身奪其無人？文無者略。「眼不見性」一句略牒無理，具足亦應盡牒四句。三「前一」下總結也。

Next, in the refutation of supernormal powers: why extend only life span and not extend the eyes, thereby disproving that there is no principle? Why not extend the tongue, thereby disproving that there is no teaching? One should also further say: why not extend wisdom to know the eternally abiding, thereby disproving that there is no practice? Why not extend the body to accord with the dharma body, thereby disproving that there is no person? That the text lacks this is brevity. The single phrase 'the eye does not see the nature' briefly reiterates [the absence of] principle; to be complete, it should also reiterate all four phrases. Third, from 'the previous one' onward is the general conclusion.
