4.39

若相待中展轉明妙，前麁猶存。今論絕待，絕前諸麁無可形待。又所以漸明四種絕者，為知圓絕極妙無過，前三被絕圓外無法，細消文意，各有深致。

"In the relative, as subtlety is clarified successively, the former coarse still remains. Now, in discussing the absolute, it cuts off the preceding coarseness so that there is nothing to compare or relate to. Furthermore, the reason for gradually clarifying the four kinds of absolute is so that one knows that the absolute of the Perfect is supremely subtle without peer, the preceding three being cut off, and that outside the Perfect there is no dharma. If one meticulously digests the textual meaning, each has profound significance."
