4.45

前明絕待，故須俱絕；今述經意，故須雙明。經意雖雙，理無異趣，以此俱絕，對前稱待，所待未會，會方名絕，是故此部得二妙名。

Previously, in clarifying absolute transcendence, both had to be transcended; now, in relating the intention of the sūtra, both must be dually elucidated. Although the sūtra's intention is twofold, the principle has no disparate drift: by taking this mutual transcendence of both and contrasting it with what was previously called relativity, what is related to has not yet been unified; only upon unification is it named transcendence. Therefore, this division receives the name of the two kinds of marvelousness.
