次開中三：謂法、譬、合。「如賤人舍王若過者」等者，麁智如舍，妙諦如王，以境妙故，智亦隨妙，此約境發智說故也。

Next, in opening there are three parts: namely, doctrine, metaphor, and application. As for "If a king passes by the house of a lowborn person," etc.: coarse wisdom is like the house, and subtle truth is like the king; because the object is subtle, wisdom also follows in being subtle. This is spoken in terms of the object generating wisdom.
