Five, in terms of the single real wisdom, there are three: explaining, evaluating, and opening. In the first, explaining, it establishes similes, matches them, and concludes. In evaluating, where it says 'If treated relative to the ten wisdoms, it is coarse': the eleven wisdoms of the *Large Perfection of Wisdom Sūtra*, ten wisdoms are shared with the Small Vehicle, and the eleventh, the wisdom of suchness, belongs to the Great Vehicle. The present text universally establishes suchness for both the Great and Small; among the various kinds of suchness, only the Perfect suchness is subtle. Next, opening and revealing: only opening and revealing suchness completes the subtle and real. Next, illuminating in correlation with truthlessness has three: namely, establishing, evaluating, and opening. First, establishing. Next, from 'If traversing' onward, evaluating; third, from 'If by means of' onward, opening.
