Next, under function, there are two parts: first, setting forth the first round; second, using the subsequent to compare with the first. The first again has two: doctrine and analogy. As for the doctrine in the first, as in the Zhiguan, from Kalodāyin at the beginning to the attachment to the perfect at the end, all are refuted without exception by the initial teaching; how much more so when the subsequent three rounds of each are listed?
