As for contemplating the mountain in the mind: If one contemplates the aggregate of form, it is non-knowing like a mountain; the aggregate of consciousness is like the divine spirit, and the other three aggregates are like the vulture. Contemplating this divine vulture as impermanent is the analytical contemplation; contemplating this divine vulture as identically empty is the contemplation of understanding nature as empty. Contemplating the divine spirit as the revealing cause of cognitive nature is the adornment of wisdom; the vulture as the conditioned cause of accumulation is the adornment of merit; and the mountain as the direct cause of Dharma-nature: these unmoving three dharmas are called the secret treasury. One abides in it oneself and also uses it to cross over others. As the text below says, "The Buddha himself abides in the Mahāyāna"—these are the distinctive and perfect contemplations (and so forth).
