「彼佛法中」下，第二，雙標能所。所化一人、能化三人，俱出其名，別顯二子福慧、六度、四弘。餘經指此為十波羅蜜，橫法門也；三十七助道，豎法門也。餘經為正道，行行為助道。今經指十度為正，呼此是助道也。禪度中具有三昧，道品中節節有三昧，更標七三昧者，廣顯法門耳。

From "In the Dharma of that Buddha" onward is the second: jointly designating the transforming and the transformed. The one person transformed and the three persons capable of transforming all have their names set forth, specially revealing the merit, wisdom, six pāramitās, and four great vows of the two sons. Other sūtras designate these as the ten pāramitās, which are horizontal Dharma gates; the thirty-seven aids to awakening are vertical Dharma gates. Other sūtras take [the eightfold path] as the primary path and bodily actions as the auxiliary path. The present sūtra designates the ten pāramitās as the primary and calls these the auxiliary path. Within the dhyāna-pāramitā all samādhis are contained, and within the factors of awakening every section has samādhis; further designating the seven samādhis is merely to reveal the Dharma gates broadly.
