發來，文為二：一、發來緣，二、正發來。來緣為六：一、經家敘其福慧，二、被照，三、辭，四、誡，五、受旨，六、現來相。敘福之由，由值先佛多也。「甚深智慧」即智慧莊嚴，十六三昧即福德莊嚴也。

Setting out to come, the text has two parts: first, the conditions for setting out to come; second, the actual setting out to come. The conditions for coming are sixfold: first, the sūtra compiler narrates his blessings and wisdom; second, being illuminated; third, taking leave; fourth, admonitions; fifth, receiving instructions; sixth, manifesting signs of coming. The reason for narrating his blessings is that he encountered many previous buddhas. "Profound wisdom" is the adornment of wisdom; the sixteen samādhis are the adornment of merit and blessings.
