教門者，《阿含》中帝釋是阿那含，般若明十方，難問般若者，皆名釋提桓因。別、圓中明釋提桓因得首楞嚴三昧，內證不同，過賢劫二千二十四劫作佛，號無著世尊（云云）。

As for the teaching approach: in the *Āgamas*, Śakra Devendra is an anāgāmin. The *Prajñāpāramitā* explains that in the ten directions, those who raise challenging questions on prajñā are all named Śakra Devendra. In the distinctive and perfect teachings, it is explained that Śakra Devendra has attained the Śūraṅgama Samādhi; their inner realisations differ. Passing beyond the Bhadrakalpa by 2,024 kalpas, he will become a buddha named the World-Honoured One Asanga (and so forth).
