「寶掌」者，《普超》云：「被上德鎧乃至佛無能沮敗，令釋大乘，若於夢中，不志二乘，常以實心、諸通慧心，為人講宣，於珍寶心無所貪惜，故名寶掌。」

'Ratnapāṇi' (Jeweled Palm): the Puchao jing says: 'Donning the armor of supreme virtue so that even a buddha cannot defeat him; making him explain the Mahāyāna so that even in dreams he does not intend the two vehicles; always using a true mind and a mind of all penetrating wisdom to lecture and explain for others, having no greed or stinginess regarding precious jewels—therefore he is named Jeweled Palm.'
