3.26

從「日月燈明」下，第四、唱滅同者，昔說《法華》即唱入滅，亦如迦葉佛（云云）。今佛說〈寶塔品〉中，明如來不久當入涅槃，化道已足，唱滅事齊也。

From "Candrasūryapradīpa" onward, fourthly, as for the correspondence of proclaiming extinction: in the past, having preached the Lotus Sūtra, he immediately proclaimed his entry into extinction, just like Kāśyapa Buddha (and so forth). When the present Buddha preaches in the "Treasure Stūpa Chapter", he clarifies that the Tathāgata will not long after enter nirvāṇa, for the path of conversion is already complete; the matters of proclaiming extinction are equivalent.
