今明此境為二：初一句略標權實章，如文；次十句廣釋權實相。今作四番釋：一、約十法界；二、約佛法界；三、約離合；四、約位。經云「諸法」，故用十法界釋也；經云「佛所成就第一希有之法」，故用佛法界釋也；經云「止止不須說，我法妙難思」，故用離合釋也；經云「唯佛與佛乃能究盡」，故用位釋也。

Now I clarify that this objective realm comprises two parts: the first phrase briefly sets forth the heading of the expedient and the real, as in the text; the subsequent ten phrases broadly explain the characteristics of the expedient and the real. Now I provide four rounds of explanation: first, in terms of the ten dharma realms; second, in terms of the Buddha dharma realm; third, in terms of separation and combination; fourth, in terms of stages. Because the sūtra says "all dharmas," I explain in terms of the ten dharma realms; because the sūtra says "the foremost rare dharmas accomplished by the Buddha," I explain in terms of the Buddha dharma realm; because the sūtra says "Stop, stop! There is no need to speak, my Dharma is subtle and difficult to conceive," I explain in terms of separation and combination; because the sūtra says "Only a buddha together with a buddha can exhaustively fathom it," I explain in terms of stages.
