4.36

餘經或謂此為失時，今經不爾。此人雖於密、顯兩時不悟，雖生滅度之想，而於彼土得聞是經，故無失時，乃是待彼土之時耳。

Other sūtras might consider this missing the time, but this sūtra does not. Although such a person does not awaken during the two times of the esoteric and explicit, and although they give rise to the thought of extinction, they will hear this sūtra in that [other] land. Therefore they do not miss the time; rather, they wait for the time of that land.
