Fourth, in terms of contemplation of mind: contemplating the principle of the three truths of mind-nature as inconceivable—this contemplation being bright and pure is called 'opening.' Though it is inconceivable, it can distinguish the mind of emptiness, provisionality, and the middle distinctly without confusion—this is called 'demonstrating.' The mind of emptiness, provisionality, and the middle being three yet one, one yet three, is called 'awakening to.' The mind of emptiness, provisionality, and the middle being neither emptiness, provisionality, nor the middle, yet illuminating emptiness, provisionality, and the middle equally, is called 'entering.' This is how the single mind and three contemplations are differentiated into the distinctions of opening, demonstrating, awakening to, and entering.
