從「眾生諸根鈍」下，第二，三行，明無機。又為三：初，半行，明障重；次「如斯」下，第二，半行，明不堪聞；「爾時梵王」者下，第三，有二行，明諸梵雖請說，大佛知無機，所以不說。

From 'sentient beings have dull faculties' onward is the second [section], comprising three lines of verse, clarifying the absence of receptive capacity. This again has three parts: first, half a line clarifies that obstacles are heavy; next, from 'such as this' onward, the second [part], comprising half a line, clarifies that they are incapable of hearing; from 'at that time the Brahmā kings' onward, the third [part], comprising two lines, clarifies that although the Brahmās entreat him to preach, the great Buddha knows there is no receptive capacity, and therefore does not preach.
