7.62

上來已二十二番開權顯實，其義已彰不虛。本欲勸信，下根信在不久，故不須也。

Hitherto, there have already been twenty-two rounds of opening the expedient and revealing the real, and its meaning of not being false has already been manifested. Originally [the parable] wished to encourage faith; the faith of those of lower faculties will not be long [in coming], so it is not needed.
