From "Mañjuśrī" onwards concludes the fulfillment of practice, divided into three: First, summarizing that being without faults is the fulfillment of practice. How is practice fulfilled? Because one establishes the great vows, the practice of entering the Tathāgata's room is fulfilled; because one knows the four assemblies have lost the perfect path, the practice of [sitting on] the Tathāgata's seat is fulfilled; because one vows to control one's mind without negligence, the practice of [wearing] the Tathāgata's robe is fulfilled. When these three practices are fully established, it is called the fulfillment of practice. "Without faults" means: because benevolence and compassion are fulfilled, there is no fault of defiling anger; because the Tathāgata's robe is fulfilled, there is no negligence; because the Tathāgata's seat is fulfilled, there is no crooked flattery. From "He is constantly... by monks" below, second, specifically concludes the fulfillment of the practice of benevolence and compassion. Because benevolence is fulfilled, one gathers the offerings of the four assemblies, humans, and devas, who listen to the Dharma; because the vows are fulfilled, one evokes the Buddha's supernatural powers and the devas provide protection; because the Tathāgata's seat is fulfilled, the listeners rejoice. From "Why is this?" below, third, explains the fulfillment of the vow-practice. If the buddhas of the three periods still protect [him], how much more so all the devas?
