非生現生，備施頓漸二化，七方便等可是樂小法者，圓頓赴機是應樂大法者，云何通判為樂小法耶？
Not being born yet manifesting birth, fully deploying the two transformations of sudden and gradual—those of the seven expedient means and so forth may indeed be those who take joy in lesser dharmas, but the perfect and sudden adaptation to capacity ought to respond to those who take joy in great dharmas; why then are they comprehensively judged as taking joy in lesser dharmas?
