As for contemplation: correctly contemplating the Middle Way without leaning toward the two extremes, the middle is precisely 'beyond training', and being able to contemplate in this manner is called 'training'. If one clarifies the number in terms of the approach of contemplation, contemplating that form and mind possess the ten dharma realms and the ten suchnesses—the realms and suchnesses mutually considered—comprehensively possess two thousand. By mentioning the traces, the original Dharma is indicated; the traces are precisely the traces of the origin.
