1.21

「譯人未聞」者，今經所無，若無集家之言，及無佛自唱語，似屬譯人以文中諸品先足，當知並是集者所置，信無譯人明矣。故今經自餘諸品，多是結集者所置，以無聞品益故，故品後無結耳。

Regarding 'having not heard of translators [doing so]', this is absent from the present sūtra; if there were neither the words of the compilers nor the personal proclamations of the Buddha, it would seem to belong to the translators, but since the various chapters in the text were already complete beforehand, one must know that they were all established by the compilers, and it is evident that there was reliably no translator [who added them]. Therefore, most of the other remaining chapters of the present sūtra were established by the compilers; because there was no mention of the benefit of hearing the chapter, there is simply no concluding statement after the chapter.
