《經》「阿提目多伽」，有人云：此云龍舐華，其草形如大麻，赤華青葉，子堪為油，亦堪為香。「已趣道場」至「處也」者，既對行近並通淺深，故亦可為觀行行近。「第五品齊第四信」者，以初二品當初信解，第三品當第二信，故二處判三慧，將二信及此三品共在聞慧位也。

On the sūtra’s phrase “atimuktaka”: someone says this means the “dragon-licking flower”; its plant resembles hemp, with red flowers and blue-green leaves, and its seeds can be made into oil and also used as incense. Regarding [the commentary’s words from] “having already proceeded to the place of enlightenment (bodhimaṇḍa)” up to “is the place”: since it corresponds to proximity of practice and applies to both shallow and profound, it can also be taken as the proximity of the practice of contemplation. Regarding “the fifth grade equals the fourth faith”: since the first two grades correspond to the first [faith of] faith and understanding, and the third grade corresponds to the second faith, two places therefore determine the three wisdoms, placing the two faiths and these three grades together in the rank of wisdom [arising from] hearing.
