10.79

名別義通，若以此對四十二位則不可通初，若對六即理即尚是，況復初品？今從圓行以明不二，故通用之。

The names are distinct but the meaning is shared. If one matches this against the forty-two ranks, then it cannot be applied to the beginning; but if matched against the six identities, even identity in principle is still it, how much more the first grade? Now, relying on the perfect practice to clarify non-duality, it is therefore used interchangeably.
