「如般若中說」者，彼經富樓那說破菩提見，故是通意。「諸賢聖自說己法」等者，此中釋通教，因引《般若》共菩薩行必破菩提法輪等見，方名菩薩。故引諸大乘經中凡諸菩薩自說己證，皆為利生或對佛述解，非如凡夫自謂己見而稱己能，故云「妄有所說」。

Regarding "as spoken in the Prajñā": in that sūtra, Pūrṇa spoke of breaking views of bodhi; therefore, it is the intent of the shared [teaching]. Regarding "noble sages themselves expounding their own dharmas" and so forth: here, explaining the shared teaching, it consequently cites the *Prajñā* to the effect that the bodhisattva practices shared [with the two vehicles] must break views of bodhi, the wheel of Dharma, and so forth before one is named a bodhisattva. Therefore, it cites various Mahāyāna sūtras where, whenever bodhisattvas speak of their own realization, it is always to benefit living beings or to express their understanding before the Buddha, not like ordinary people who assert their own views and praise their own abilities; hence it says "falsely making statements".
