今見此瑞與本無異，本表過也。今日如來，即顯此也。雙述過現故表雙判。

"Now seeing this omen, it is no different from the original"—"original" represents the past. "Today the Tathāgata"—this reveals this. Doubly narrating past and present, it therefore represents a double decision.
