據無量前無眾圍繞等言，且云無眾。而云「說大乘經教菩薩法」，所教菩薩及二十億，豈非眾耶？況二兼三餘何須述？

Based on the fact that prior to 'Immeasurable [Meanings]' there are no words such as 'surrounded by the assembly,' it is temporarily said that there was no assembly. Yet it says, 'preached the Great Vehicle sūtra, a dharma to instruct bodhisattvas'—are the bodhisattvas instructed and the two billion [beings] not an assembly? Furthermore, since the two implicitly include the three, why must the rest be recounted?
