4.139

元為法滅無師獨悟，既有佛興復不稟教，去則不與稟教為妨，是故不同方等元是稟教之人。

Originally, because the Dharma had perished, they awakened alone without a teacher. Since a buddha has arisen and they also do not receive his teaching, their departure does not obstruct those who receive the teaching; therefore, they are not like those in the Vaipulya who were originally people who received the teaching.
