4.39

界雖有限益物不窮，分證尚爾，況論十方究竟果佛？以果驗因，豈有不盡行道法、不勇猛精進，而能令二智橫竪深廣耶？

Although the realms are limited, benefiting beings is inexhaustible; this is so even for partial realization, how much more so for the ultimate fruition buddhas of the ten directions? Verifying the cause by the fruition, how could it be that without exhausting the practice of the path and dharmas, and without courageous and vigorous exertion, they could cause the two wisdoms to be horizontally and vertically profound and vast?
