第六領解有無者，雖不云舊，古有此計，故今引破。「今明」下先破緣覺，次辯菩薩。初文中四：初立理，次「身子」下引事，三「又四眾」下意有，四「信解」下義有。

Sixth, regarding the presence or absence of expressing understanding: although not called 'old,' the ancients held this calculation, so it is now cited and refuted. The passage beginning 'Now it is clarified' first refutes [it regarding] pratyekabuddhas, and next distinguishes bodhisattvas. In the first text there are four parts: first establishing the principle; next, the passage beginning 'Śāriputra' adduces facts; third, the passage beginning 'Furthermore, the four assemblies' shows it is present in intent; fourth, the passage beginning 'Faith and understanding' shows it is present in principle.
