門別故二、體同故即，雖復勸即是誡，但是勸家之誡，誡即是勸，但是誡家之勸，故兩門各存不妨體一。

Because the approaches are distinct, they are two; because their substance is the same, they are identical. Although exhortation is indeed warning, it is only warning within the context of exhortation; warning is indeed exhortation, but it is only exhortation within the context of warning. Thus, the two approaches are each preserved without obstructing the oneness of their substance.
