6.71

今別有意，判在三藏故也。彼謂一切菩薩不斷故俱不索，或斷未盡是故不索。又引經論偶成通藏，以彼不知別圓義故。若本知者何事不立？

Now there is a different intent, because it is judged as belonging to the Tripiṭaka. They maintained that all bodhisattvas do not sever and therefore all do not demand, or that their severing is not yet complete and therefore they do not demand. Furthermore, in citing sūtras and treatises, they happened to coincide with the shared and Tripiṭaka [teachings], because they did not know the meanings of the distinct and perfect. If they had known them originally, for what reason would they not establish them?
