若從佛述，應云草木及以地雨，今品既是述成之文，如何但指聲聞中草云四大弟子等耶？
If it follows the Buddha's endorsement, it should speak of the plants and trees as well as the earth and rain. Since the present chapter is a text of endorsement and confirmation, why does it point solely to the voice-hearers as the intermediate herb, speaking of the four great disciples, and so forth?
