廣略雖殊其理一也。但種通乘局，合大開小故但三乘。又種等四必遍十界，於中起慧必唯三乘，三乘通於四界故也。

Although extensive and brief differ, their principle is one. However, seeds are broad while vehicles are limited; combining the great and opening the small, it therefore only mentions the three vehicles. Furthermore, the four items including seeds necessarily pervade the ten realms, while the arising of wisdom within them belongs solely to the three vehicles, because the three vehicles pervade the four realms.
