雨譬已述譬及領解，〈方便品〉已判甚深，甚深秖是無上異名，況〈方便品〉已是譬本。若以〈方便〉去八品為正，猶得迹門中正，若以十三品為正，復雜迹門流通，故知取迹流通為正；棄本正為流通，深不可也。具如別記。

The rain metaphor has already related the metaphor and the understanding; the 'Skillful Means' chapter has already been determined to be profound; 'profound' is just another name for 'unsurpassed', and moreover the 'Skillful Means' chapter is already the origin of the metaphors. If taking the eight chapters from 'Skillful Means' onward as the main body, one still captures the main body of the trace gate; if taking thirteen chapters as the main body, it is again mixed with the transmission of the trace gate; therefore, we know that taking the transmission of traces as the main body and abandoning the main body of the origin as transmission is deeply inadmissible.
