「欲令」下至「若干因緣譬喻」者，此用五佛章中施權之言皆云「種種因緣」等，以申今文本迹俱有漸頓之化。

From below “wishing to cause” to “sundry causes, conditions, and parables”: this employs the words of applying the provisional in the chapter on the five buddhas, where all say “various causes and conditions”, and so forth, in order to express that the present text, both origin and traces, possesses the transformations of both gradual and sudden.
